This year we held a week long Say No to Texting and Driving campaign, We handed handed out blue ribbons to all the students at the beginning of the week to remind them not to text and drive. These ribbons were tied to their backpacks or keychains. Those who keep their ribbon until National FCCLA week in 2015 will be entered to win prizes.
We had lunch time activities where students pledged on itcanwait.com to not text and drive and played Plinko to win prizes. We also had a banner that students signed that we hung up in the commons area of the school.
The last day of the week we put "It Can Wait" stickers (donated by AT&T) on all of the cars in the school parking lot.
A speaker from Zero Fatalities came and presented safe driving habits to the students and parents.
